The Anatomy of the Blog

So on the top you'll see our shelf of what we've read. Every month I'll post what we're currently reading and what's next on the chopping block ;) I know that schedules are tight and for some reason not everyone can seem to get to our facebook group. In light of that we can use this fun little blog to bring out poignant issues in case we can't make it to the meeting or we're too anxious and have to say something BEFORE the meeting! I won't ever post where we are meeting. I'll leave that to our private messages. Happy reading!

Book Club's Blog Debut

Mandy and I started this book club out of a sincere passion for reading. At least that's my reason! I have been an avid reader since I learned to read when I was four. I love the escape from life a great book provides. I can not imagine my life without a good book. I'll never forget my first book series addiction - Nancy Drew! I think I was addicted to that series until junior high. My first author addiction must have been Roald Dahl. He is so clever and humorous! Since then I have found a myriad of fantastic books. I love to recommend them to others and love hearing about what they thought of it even more. So if any of you would like to share why you're in the book club and why you love to read, I'm sure the rest of us would love to hear it. Just make a post!
